Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7: Cosmic Summer Update Add New Chests, Knockback Gun, Parasites, Mother Ship, Concert Event

Epic Games is doubling down on the invasion arc of Fortnite with the cosmic summer update. This has added a range of new elements that will definitely serve as exciting addition. The studio has even added a brand new alien vessel, new weaponry among other interesting items. These additions will definitely change the meta, while also adding alien elements that stays true to the invasion arc.

New items like a parasite, knockback gun are great for Fortnite

Every gamer loves a new content update. These things help keep the title fresh while allowing players to enjoy new content. Epic Games has added released a new update to enrich the content of the invasion arc. The studio has added a new treasure chest, motherships, knock gun back, and more.

Loot Llamas: These crazy lamas are back into the game and they offer an amazing reward. If you managed to catch them, then you will get a reward drop of Rail, which can decimate anyone.

Mothership: Latest alien vessel as Mother ship has been added into the game. These ships hunt for players on the map, and they beam several people inside. Once beamed, you will find yourself locked inside an arena, where you must battle it out with other players for golden and silver stars that will help you unlock lucrative rewards.

Knockback gun: The studio has rolled out a brand new event in form of mothership. Players can find a whole new knockback weapon, which can push people off from a particular spot. So far the weapon is only available in mothership and it might be added into the game soon.

Parasites will consume you: The studio has even added a brand new gameplay element in a form of parasites. These creatures can grant you a mobility boost, at the cost of your health which will deplete over time. You can easily remove it by approaching fire and water, as it will force it to leave you alone.

Rumors have it that the studio might roll out a brand new concert event in 2021. It is being said that this event could feature prominent pop artists like Nicki Minaj and Ariana Grande. These rumors aren’t confirmed yet, as the studio has revealed no information about it.
