Fortnite received its Chapter 2 Season 6 update around one and a half months ago. The update bought a major ‘primal’ overhaul to the game. Additionally, it introduced the mechanics of crafting and hunting to Fortnite.

Yesterday the game received its third patch of this season. The patch version 16.30 introduces new mythic and exotic weapons into the game. Epic added the grappling bow with the previous update. Similarly, the updated version 16.30 adds two more bow variants into the game.

The two bows are the exotic unstable bow and the mythic explosive bow. In order to obtain these bows, you will have to visit different NPC’s. The new NPC and DC character, Raven, can be found at Fort Crumpet selling the exotic unstable bow for 500 gold bars. On the other hand, the mythic explosive bow can be obtained by defeating Raz at the spire. This is easier said than done, as Raz possesses 2000 health points.

New Spire challenges and bug fixes to Fortnite

In addition to the new bow variants, we also have updated spire challenges. Spire challenges were introduced in Chapter 2 Season 6 to help us uncover the mysteries behind the spire.

The new challenges are:

  • Gather information on Raz from Tarana, Lara Croft, Rebirth Raven, Cluck or Globb
  • Complete uncommon or rarer quests
  • Defeat the Glyph Master Raz and collect the Spire artifact

After completing the last challenge, you will unlock Raz’s alternate style.

Epic has also addressed many bugs across various modes in Fortnite. These include:

Battle Royale

  • “Hit an opponent with a Harpoon Gun” Quest fixed.
  • Players receiving a Quest from Jonesy The First that does not grant rewards.
