The makers of the God of War video game series are currently in talks with Amazon to try to create a TV series adaptation of this popular video game franchise. The God of War franchise is a much-loved one, with often fans considering the 2018 PlayStation as one of the best games made. This game was also ported to PC very recently and has only become more popular since.

Now that conversations around the TV series are going on, WWE superstar and professional wrestler Adam Scherr did not shy away from presenting on the internet his interest in being on the show.

Adam Scherr could play Kratos in God of War series

As seen above, Adam Scherr is very confident that he would be able to pull off the role of Kratos brilliantly in the upcoming God of War TV series adaptation. In the caption, he says, “So I hear there looking for a #Kratos for the new #GodOfWar series !!!!!!! Tag the people below and let them know!!!!”

In the comments, WWE diva and superstar Ronda Rousey says, “BOY playing this now actually amazing game.” It seems like the WWE stars have started to find themselves in the quicksand that is God of War’s engaging gameplay. There is no escape!

Sony Picture Television and PlayStation Productions are currently in talks with Amazon Prime Videos for co-production of the show. Two likely names that are expected to work on this show are ‘The Expanse’ creators and executive producers Hawk Ostby and Mark Fergus. Furthermore, it is expected that “The Wheel of Time’ showrunner Rafe Judkins might also be involved with the show.

God of War recently received a port for the PC platform and is now available on Steam. God of War continues to hit big numbers on charts and is immensely loved within the gaming community.
