Valkyrae on streaming as a professional career
Recently, in her YouTube short, Valkyrae revealed a brutal truth about the streaming world. While talking about streaming as a profession and how to kick start a streaming journey, Valkyrae said, “Pause the music. Alright. I’m telling you right now, do not quit your job/work. Get a real job first, okay.
“f you have the intentions of streaming coz you want it to be your job and you wanna make money from it. Hannh. Sorry, you cannot go into it with that expectation. It’s not gonna work and you have to do this for years and years and years and years. Use streaming as a hobby.”

Furthermore, Valkyrae also highlighted the point that streaming with zero views and zero followers isn’t a good choice. One would first need to work on their brand through other social media channels.
“You also need to create content that is going to be interesting and probably something you’re passionate about. Collaborate with people. Try different types of content. If something isn’t working or if something gets more views than other things then maybe that’s something to capitalize on,” Valkyrae added.

Valkyrae has had a humble beginning. During her streaming journey to the top, Rachel faced multiple obstacles and setbacks. However, despite all these setbacks, the one thing that motivates Valkyrae in her journey is her passion for gaming and streaming.
Definitely, it takes a lot of planning and hard work to get a prominent position in the gaming community. But leaving everything behind just to start a career in this industry isn’t as simple as it seems.
