Call of Duty Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2 are the latest offerings from Activision in the long-running franchise. Ahead of their anticipated debuts, last year, a lot of gaming lovers were extremely excited. However, the time after their releases has mostly turned out to be quite disappointing for majority of the players so far. It’s because of the many issues involved with the newest entries.
One of the growing problems for Call of Duty devs, despite their best efforts, has the hacking in their games. Yes, the Ricochet Anti-Cheat system has been refined on numerous occasions, but that’s not been enough. Cheaters and hackers still exist in MWII and Warzone 2, ruining the experience of regular players who want to enjoy but can’t do so.

Former COD World Champion and pro player Doug Censor Martin is known as one of the most popular faces in the game’s community. Over the years, he’s earned a reputation for himself, thanks to a phenomenal performance in many competitive tournaments. But lately, he’s been feeling that the makers are not doing anything regarding a serious problem in their latest titles, namely MWII and Warzone 2.
Doug is a true Call of Duty lover and just like any other loyal fan he also wants the series to be amazing. Keeping this thought in mind, he recently posted a video on his main Twitter account. This time, he seemed to be slightly upset with the developers at Activision and Infinity Ward.
Doug mentioned that hacking and cheating has made the gameplay absolutely horrible. There’s hardly a Ranked Play match for him that goes by without encountering a cheater. Thus, he now wants answers on this situation. He believes that Activision can easily fix this mess. “You got so much money behind your company, you have to address this. There’s no excuse, there’s no reason why we can’t get a public update on this cheating in Ranked.”

Hopefully the people at Activision will listen to Doug’s questions and try to give him and the community a proper response. That’s necessary to do as well in order to keep the existing player base engaged on a regular basis.
