A legendary female gaming icon is finally arriving in the world of CoD!
Publisher Activision is trying every trick to lure gamers to Call of Duty Modern Warfare II. Since its debut, the latest installment has received a variety of content in terms of weapons, modes, and maps. However, it’s the introduction of appealing Operators that has kept a lot of players hooked. Mostly the title has brought in faces from the pop culture though. But now, it’s going to finally reveal a true gaming icon.
In a recent pre-release blog for Season 5, the devs confirmed many rumored Operator bundles for music legends like 21 Savage, Nicki Minaj, and Snoop Dogg. However, a separate piece of news shared by PlayStation is the one making headlines on the internet. Lara Croft, the evergreen star of the Tomb Raider franchise, is coming to Call of Duty. Yes, it’s not just a possibility theory anymore – this collaboration is real!

Lara Croft Operator bundle confirmed for Call of Duty
Season 5 looks to be the biggest yet for MWII and its future going ahead. There are multiple surprises lined up for fans seeking non-stop entertainment. Apart from fresh maps, Multiplayer modes, and guns, the next update will offer unexpected Operator bundles too.
As if the return of Phillip Graves from the Campaign wasn’t enough to send shockwaves across the community, Season 5 has now revealed even more jaw-dropping news. Rap queen Nicki Minaj was already confirmed to make her way into Call of Duty Modern Warfare II, alongside 21 Savage and Snoop Dog, thanks to a lengthy blog. But that’s not everything the players will get.
PlayStation leaks Lara Croft early in Modern Warfare II Season 5
In a weird, yet crucial manner, a blog from PlayStation on Season 5 has just confirmed that Lara Croft is also coming to Activision’s FPS universe. To be precise, she will be available as an Operator, being part of a bundle.
“Play as the legendary treasure hunter and video game icon Lara Croft in a new Operator bundle arriving in the mid-season”, reads a section from the blog. Interestingly, there’s no extra information offered on her bundle. Plus, this news hasn’t been shared on Call of Duty’s official account, just yet. As of this writing, Activision is yet to drop a word on Lara Croft. But fans can still celebrate.
All things considered, Lara’s action-packed epic debut will be a new experience for all the players. Especially, when it comes to witnessing her as a CoD Operator using lethal combat skills.
