The Microsoft–Call of Duty collaboration is the talk of the town right now. Since Microsoft’s $69 million deal to take over Activision Blizzard was announced, COD fans were tense thinking that this game would not be available on PlayStation in the future. However, breaking the ice, Microsoft’s Phil Spencer has future Call of Duty titles on PlayStation 5. However, Call of Duty fans confirmed something really unexpected about the situation.
The deal resolved the tension among PlayStation fans, but the franchise’s old titles were still a hassle for Xbox 360 users. It seemed that Microsoft’s deal to take over Activision Blizzard benefitted Call of Duty fans in some more ways.?
Fans returning to COD’s old titles

Xbox 360 was troublesome for users since its launch in the market. Adding to that, Microsoft 360 users were really facing trouble loading matches of the old titles in their system. Following Call of Duty’s huge followers, there were serious player communities active for the older game titles in the franchise. These games were Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Modern Warfare 2 and 3. Xbox 360’s issue was restricting Call of Duty players to relish these popular titles on their system.?
However, a COD fan posted interesting news on his Twitter account. He notified his friends and followers that Microsoft Xbox 360 brought back the old Call of Duty servers online. He also mentioned that this made fans crazily excited to go back to their favorite Call of Duty titles- “(FYI) The Xbox 360 Call of Duty servers are back online and now gamers are flooding back!!
