Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 5 has truly shown us the power of collaborations. Throughout the course of the season, we have seen Epic teaming up with studios like Marvel and Disney, gaming titles like Halo and God of War, and in the past even musicians like Travis Scott and Marshmello. However, Epic’s newest skin will be part of the Icon series.
The icon-series essentially designs in-game characters to represent their real-life counterparts. Additionally, they come with accompanying cosmetics that pay tribute to the person they are based on. Previously, we have seen these skins given to YouTubers and streamers like Ninja, Lachlan, and The Grefg, among others. Lannan Eacott, better known as Lazarbeam, will be joining this list of creators as he is set to get his own icon series skin. Both Fortnite and Lazarbeam have taken to Twitter, teasing the new Icon series skin. Furthermore, Lazarbeam has scheduled an upload for 4:30 pm today titled “My Fortnite Skin Reveal.”

The icon series kicked off with the Ninja skin, which was an amazing in-game representation of the streamer. The skin came with four variants, a Ninja’s edge back bling, dual katana pickaxes, and his famous new Year dance emote. Since Lazarbeam has a similar following, platform, and role in the community, it should not be surprising to see Epic revert to this format.
