Acend has been crowned the winner of the Valorant Champions 2021 tournament. And post this victory, the fans are happy and they just can’t stop celebrating this moment. On the 13th of December 2021, the European-based Esports team defeated Gambit Esports by a score of 3-2 in the grand finals. And since then, it’s been a moment of joy for all Esports fans all around the world who desperately wanted them to win.

With this victory, Acend has become the first-ever world champion of the competitive shooter Valorant.

The popular Canadian Esports star Envy FiNESSE also congratulated Acend on their victory. Where the title of the tweet goes by, Congrats @AcendClub seriously. You guys were incredible this event and it showed in every game.”

For the fans who are unfamiliar with Envy FiNESSE, he currently plays for the team ENVY, and he used to be a professional CS: GO player.

Fans congratulate Acend on their win in the Valorant Champions tournament

At this special moment, the official Twitter handle of the Valorant Champions expressed gratitude towards Gambit Esports for having participated in the tournament. The tweet goes, You gave us some of the greatest matches this year. Your achievements will be etched in history. Thank you and see you next year @GambitEsports. #VALORANTChampions.

Fans feel it’s a sweet gesture from Valorant Champions to congratulate the runner-ups as well. Both Acend and Gambit Esports gave an outstanding performance right from the beginning of the Championship, where both the teams did not lose even a single match. 

A lot of these fans, along with some known Esports entities, expressed their excitement and congratulated the newly crowned champions on Twitter.

In fact, the popular Esports team Fnatic also expressed their joy by congratulating the European Esports champions. And at last, the Valkyrae co-owned Esports team 100 Thieves also congratulated Acend for their achievement.
