1. Relaunching the games

Players have specifically talked about certain games, on launching which the popup message appears on the screen of their PlayStation 5. No, some users suggested that if on the initial launch of the game, the pop-up message appears, players can choose to close and relaunch the game. By relaunching these games, Players might get back their communication features on the device. However, if the glitch is present in the games itself, the pop-up message might still feature on the device’s screen.

2. Logging out other users from the device

If a second user is also logged into the PlayStation 5 device, it might restrict players from using the communication feature on the console. Players logged into the network’s main account or parent account can also come across such pop-up messages. To solve this, players need to primarily press their PlayStation’s button on the controller and go to the user and accounts section from the settings menu.’

From this, they can sign out the secondary or guest users. By only keeping the adult account on the device, users might restore the communication features on their PS5. If the pop-up message still appears, players are advised to restart their console before logging in from only one adult account.

3. Shutting down the PlayStation 5 console and restarting it back

If the above-stated two solutions do not work, players can simply shut down their PS 5 console and restart it. Some players on the internet have suggested this method as a good solution for stopping the pop-up message from appearing continuously on screen and restoring their communication features in the device. However, to do so, players have to press the power button of the console until the white light stops flashing. After this, the console finally shuts down. After shutting down the console, players can choose to restart it by pressing the same power button and see whether the communication features are returned to the device.

4. Disabling the console-sharing option

Some of the PlayStation 5 users have expressed that, by enabling the console sharing option, they encounter the pop-up message restricting the communication features on their PS5 device. This can happen even if the players are logged in from their adult accounts. At this point, users can just choose to disable their console sharing option by going to the user and account menu from the settings. After going to the user and account menu, they can further proceed with the other option. Here, the players can enable the console-sharing option by following the same process to get back their communication features.

5. Restoring licensed contents

Some PlayStation users said that by restoring the license for some of their content, they were able to fix their communication features on their PlayStation 5 devices. To do so, players need to go to their settings menu and find the user and account options. From this option, they can find the other option, which enables them to restore licenses for their downloaded content from the PlayStation Store.
