As the success story of Jimmy the Creator has progressed, his efforts in ‘making the world a better place’ have only evolved to a grander scale. From environmental initiatives, and free food and clothes to animal care, the YouTube King doing everything in his power to make a global impact. 

For a lot of fans, the philanthropic side of MrBeast has resonated more than his ever-entertaining aspect. All these much-needed initiatives have not only inspired other elements of the society but also brought some unsung heroes into the limelight. Having said all this, let’s look at the five Beast Philanthropy drives that deserve more attention. 

MrBeast Philanthropy is a symbol of hope 

Before Jimmy had started implementing his idea of ‘doing something for the world around’, one would have hardly believed in miracles. Fortunately, the creator arrived with his organization Beast Philanthropy and proved that miracles do happen.

Beast Philanthropy has three broad missions: 

• Food Security: Eradicating food insecurity by providing free food to the needy.
• Relief: Providing aid and assistance to individuals in need.
• Dignity: Encourage other initiatives to fight the people suffering 

With Beast Pantry and other major collaborators on the way, MrBeast indeed has come a long way in the philanthropy journey. However, the creator still states, “This is just the beginning”. 

1) Collaborating with Sharing Excess for Food Security 

The latest Beast Philanthropy drive involves a collaboration with Sharing Excess that aims to safely eradicate food insecurity. The purpose of the initiative is to take all the potential waste food and deliver it to the needy through free food stalls. These include daily essentials like groceries and packaged foods. Beast Philanthropy took over and changed the organization’s organizational structure. The initiative’s combined goal was to feed the underprivileged in more than 19 states in the United States. 

“When we first started Beast Philanthropy just two and a half years ago, our goal was to feed 400,000 meals in the first year. Now we’ll be doing just over 2 million meals a month and this is just the beginning. The time that has taken you to watch this video, 280 pounds of food has already been rescued by Beast Philanthropy and Sharing Excess. It is because of that we’re able to continue and support organizations like Sharing Excess that make a difference all around the world,” the YouTuber expressing his thoughts on the drive stated. 

2) Making Donations with a touch of fun’

Food security has been among the main focus of Jimmy’s philanthropic initiatives. A year ago, Jimmy uploaded a similar video trying to tackle food insecurity. The scale understandably was smaller as compared to the latest one, but only to the standards of MrBeast. The video also included a fun touch of the creator as it involved some real-life heroes overcoming fun challenges thrown by the creator to amplify the grant promised. The instructions were simple: everything you could fit in a circle would be paid and donated to the needy by the creator. This also included some sports essentials to inspire young athletes to pursue their dreams. 

3) Paying for a Children’s Hospital 

Jimmy along with his team decided to cover the surgery charges of the unfortunate kids suffering from rare deformities. In this particular initiative, we were introduced to the kids suffering from clubfoot and how they were subjected to harsh bullying, taking away their childhood. 

The team of Beast Philanthropy offered to cover the cost of all these surgeries for a month. Due to this grant, the hospital could give a normal childhood back to over 160 children.

4) When MrBeast gave away $2,700,000 worth of free clothes! 

Through this particular drive, Jimmy addressed the issue of cloth wastage. The YouTuber highlighted the fact that around 92 million tons of clothes go to waste every year.

On the contrary, there are still a lot of people who struggle to get something to get through the harsh climates. Thus, under the free clothes initiative, Jimmy made the decision to acquire excess and unsold garments. The MrBeast Team reached out to Champions, a well-known clothing brand, who was more than willing to join them on this worthwhile journey, in order to make this idea a reality. They succeeded in assembling garments valued at over two million dollars. Equipped with so many tools, the group set out for the northern Arizona Hopi reservation.

5) A genie to students

One of the most heartwarming and earliest initiatives from the creator involved him turning into a ‘genie’ to some needy students struggling to afford some study essentials. The team went to four different universities and did a giveaway of around $300,000! 

Undoubtedly, all these works by the YouTube King inspire each one of us to take the first step and believe in the miracles of ‘hope’.
