Five Things That Nintendo Have Done Right With the New Mario Kart 8 DLC Launch

The highly awaited DLC for Mario Kart 8 has slowly begun to roll out now for Nintendo fans. But before the collective verdict from the community comes, some early impressions already suggest that it’s a good update.

In case you missed it, the Mario Kart 8 DLC was scheduled to come out on March 17 or March 18, 2022.

The 5 best things that make Mario Kart 8 DLC worth it!

The first batch of DLC, with eight tracks, is here. And few of them have already got a taste of the update, like the YouTuber from NintenTalk channel.

He got to play it with the help of YouTuber Zach from SwitchForce. Since Zach has a Japanese account, he invited NintenTalk‘s YouTuber to a match that he’d started with a group of players.

While discussing the Mario Kart 8 DLC and its gameplay, the YouTuber mentioned various aspects. Most importantly, though, he talked about several key points and additions that make the DLC worth having.

Firstly, there are courses packs that make the DLC really fun, especially if you have the expansion pass. Also, a lot of these courses are brought from the Mario Kart Tour, the mobile version. So it’s good to see Nintendo bringing such positive things for Switch owners as well.

Secondly, the ‘Coconut Mall’ course, from Wii, is super impressive to witness in Mario Kart 8.

Then there are the Mario Kart Tour tracks, that keep the races fresh as they pose varying challenges with every lap. Each one of them feels different from the previous one. It will ultimately result in keeping the players hooked to the game for longer a duration.

Also, the overall gameplay seems to be enjoyable.

Lastly, the most important reason to get this DLC is simply due to its graphical improvements. There are more details in the environment, and the colors look quite pretty and vibrant.
