And then a bunch of eagle-eyed fans found some really hidden details in the game that no one had noticed before. Shiekah Slate exists

Shiekah slate was basically Link’s primary tool; every power or ability that he used sprouted from this unusual piece of equipment. In this new game, even though we saw Link use his abilities multiple times, there was no direct indication that this slate survived the attack by Ganon.
But in one of the scenes of the pre-launch trailer, it makes an appearance. And it appears pretty intact!
New weapons and larger battles
In one of the scenes, we can see Link riding into a battle at full speed. In his right hand, he holds a shiny new kind of weapon that hints that it might be a Zonai weapon.
Other than that, this battle has a bunch of fighters on both sides, but it appears that Link’s side mostly consists of farmers and not seasoned warriors. It appears Hyrule has finally hit one of those desperate times when the common populace has to fight those ugly monsters.

Link has wings now
Apparently, Link has gained wings in this new game. We can see him in action many times. On many instances, he jumps from high points and opens his glider. But on rare occasions, we can see him taking a flight in a wingsuit.
This means Link would be faster and more responsive in the air, which would be a godsend!
Sword and a Shield
The newly introduced fuse ability really allows for some crazy combinations; only recently, a huge cannon was seen in Link’s hands in one of the trailers. But the pre-launch trailer shows something way more interesting.
Fans can see Link holding a spear clearly made out of a sword and a shield. He is fighting an enemy and instantly parries their attack using the shield attached to their weapon.
Lynels and weaponized horns
Yes, as if these towering enemies were not hard enough to kill on their own, Tears of the Kingdom would have variants with weapons attached to their horns. This might just be one of the variants, or it might be the upgraded Lynel players have to face everywhere.
