Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 marks the first time for zombies in Modern Warfare. And most fans are having a lot of fun with its uniquely designed open-world experience. Now going further, it seems like Season 1 will end up unleashing even more surprises. Looks like there will be new weapons.

Modern Warfare Zombies already features tons of iconic guns, pistols. Not to mention the Wonder Weapons from previous Black Ops installments of Treyarch. The likes of Ray Gun and Scorcher are there for the players to wreak havoc on the undead. With Season 1, the roster is set to extend with an addition of a beloved zombie killer, thanks to a new leak.

This mighty Wonder Weapon is coming to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Zombies in Season 1

Going by a recently leaked intel, Modern Warfare Zombie is set to receive V-R11 in Season 1. The weapon is reportedly coming to the game from past COD entries in the FPS franchise. YouTuber and pro player MrDalekJD revealed this huge update in one of his newest videos on the streaming platform.

Per the YouTuber, V-R11 happens to be the most unique Wonder Weapon in the entire Zombies experience of the series. That’s because of its mind-boggling abilities during combat situations against the undead. Players of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Zombies will get to feel its true power when it actually makes its way during Season 1 next month.

For the uninitiated, V-R11 was originally introduced in 2010’s first Black Ops game. Now what makes it special compared to other Wonder Weapons is the ability to hit Zombies and turn them into Humans. When hit by the beams of V-R11, any undead end up transforming back to a normal human character.

However, the human will then get chased by other zombies in a given match while screaming. They will try to go to the nearest water body and attempt the shortest route possible to escape.

The V-R11 can offer even more impact when upgraded using Pack-a-Punch machines. After getting Pack-a-Punched, it turns into the V-R11 Lazarus. The latter then fires red bursts, similar to an upgraded Ray Gun. Moreover, its magazine capacity also increases to six shots as the reserve ammo gets extended.

What’s more? A player can even shoot other players in a game with V-R11. When hit by the beams of this Wonder Weapon, the other player will become temporarily immune to damage inflicted by zombies. In short, zombies won’t even chase that specific individual!

With the latest leak suggesting the return of this mind-boggling weapon, it will be intriguing to see how Modern Warfare 3 players end up utilizing it in their experiences. A release date of the first major update for the game is yet to be confirmed.
