On the first day of CS2‘s launch famous streamers DrDisrespect and xQc try their luck by opening cases in the game. Opening cases gives players cosmetic rewards in the game. Although they hold no advantage in the game besides looking good, they are extremely desirable to players. What do they pull? Came as a surprise to everybody.

While collecting cosmetics seems like a fun thing to do in CS2, it is to be noted that some skins cost upwards of hundreds of dollars. As spending so much money to change the color of a few pixels might not be an option for everybody, streamers like DrDisrespect and xQc are all about that life.

During a stream on the day of the launch of CS2, DrDisrespect gets lucky while unlocking a glove case. While opening the case, he pulls a StatTrak SSG 08 Dragonfire. One friend on the call with him mentions that this is the first StatTrak SSG 08 Dragonfire in the game. DrDisrespect uploaded a clip on Twitter of his reaction to getting the skin. In the clip, the streamer looks extremely excited and that is shared by his friends on call with him.

xQc another famous streamer who played CS2 on the day of the launch got luckier than the Dr himself. While DrDisrespect pulled one covert skin, xQc outdid him. During xQc’s stream, while opening boxes, the player received not one, but 4 covert skins.

Among the skins he won were the Kara Doppler P3 FN in a case, Ak Fire Serpent STT FN, AWP Gungnir 0.02, and Dragon Lore 0.005 in trade-ups. It should be noted that each of these skins is worth at least $1500 and can go up to $20,000.

While most of the comments were logical, the top-rated comment on DrDisrespect’s post was a screenshot from his clip where he just randomly spits on stream.

One fan in disbelief shares their mind and says, that everyone who said that they got a covert skin, is lying and using recorded footage. The fan seems to be disappointed as they did not receive an expensive skin in the game as the streamers did.

When it came to xQc’s fans, the disbelief was real. One fan shared their opinion and stated that Valve tagged the streamer’s Steam account to get more luck as thousands of people are watching them.

While these guns don’t matter to the streamers as much monetarily, their excitement of winning a lucky prize is what reminds us that these steamers are more like us than we could think.
