According to xQc, “Fire every employee involved in content and production. Terminate contracts with most Esports teams. Instead, focus on building a strong core of prominent creators, such as YouTubers and streamers. Then invest in merchandise, branding, and production.

xQc’s proposed approach has some significant flaws. Other content creators pointed out that this strategy would create division within the fanbase. Transforming FaZe Clan from an Esports company into a content creation company would mean getting rid of the individuals who have contributed to FaZe’s success and reputation. Removing these “OGs” would likely result in discontent among the fans and further diminish the company’s standing.

Fans also chimed in on social media, expressing their concerns. One user on Twitter stated, “If they cut all ties to OG’s AND every player on the Esports roster, FaZe would die within 2 weeks, no joke.” another added, “Good thing he has nothing to do with it anyway” another fan added, “You cut the OG’s and it’s no longer faze lol. Just some meaningless F symbol” and the discussion continued.

In summary, while xQc’s ideas may appear interesting on the surface, they fail to consider the importance of preserving the company’s legacy and fan loyalty. A more balanced approach that leverages the strengths of both content creators and Esports players would be crucial for FaZe Clan to regain its former glory.
