

Fans on the internet expressed their anger as countless scams impersonating MrBeast spread around YouTube. Fans and MrBeast himself became vocal about how angry and frustrated they are that no steps are being taken against these scammers.

Jimmy Donaldson, aka MrBeast, is one of the biggest YouTubers of all time. With 100Million + subscribers and billions of channel views, MrBeast is currently at the top of his game. But it is not just YouTube. Jimmy has also seen Great success in other avenues. His fast-food chain and merchandises are hugely profitable.
But Jimmy is the kind of person who loves to share his success with his followers. MrBeast has had many giveaways in the past. Even in his videos, he has been seen giving out thousands of dollars to his fans. But scammers exploit this open-hearted nature of the YouTuber.
Scammers impersonating MrBeast are spreading across YouTube
YouTube is one of the largest videos sharing platforms in the world. With billions of users and a plethora of channels, the platform is jam-packed with content. But in this highly saturated space, there are some bad apples.
On November 5, 2022, @EricvonArnold made a tweet tagging MrBeast where he informed him about a scam that is floating around YouTube Impersonating him. He said, “Hey @MrBeast , just thought I’d let you know there is a possible scam with your name on it that’s shared via a YouTube ad.”

Eric informed Jimmy about the channel’s name and how it was scamming the audience. He added, “The channel is called Beast Tasks and says that everyone can claim a 1000 €, $, £ or AUD. Reality though is you have to sign up for a bunch of paid stuff”
The tweet was successful in getting MrBeast’s attention. He quickly replied to the tweet, saying, “Yeah, I wish they would crack down on ads impersonating me. If something is not from one of my verified mrbeast accounts IT IS NOT REAL!” urging YouTube to take action about the situation.
How did fans react to the tweet?
Fans were angry that so many MrBeast Impersonators are spreading across social platforms. They cornered YouTube to take action against these scammers. Some of them even suggested that Jimmy should take legal action against these frauds.
