This setting lets the player adjust the strength of motion blur in gameplay from the main menu. Square Enix has kept the default setting to the maximum amount. But they have also given players the option to turn off motion blur entirely.
With Square Enix listening to the feedback given by the community, the fans have also come forward to praise them. They are praising the developers for giving their complete attention to this long-running series till now too.
Fans commend the efforts shown by Square Enix
The Final Fantasy XVI community has voiced their reactions to this new update. Most fans were ecstatic about this new update and all the upgrades it would provide to them.
My singular (1) complaint was the inability to disable motion blur. (Well, okay, that and not nearly enough Cidolfus content.)
But really, with this update you'll bring #FF16 to near perfection in my eyes. Thank you so much for providing such an amazing experience.

Thank you for the motion blur options. I personally have no idea how or why motion blur became an industry standard thing, but I'm sure there are those who like to have it. I'll be turning it off completely straight away.
Thank you for listening to your gamers and making change!

While the community has praised the efforts, some are still pointing out further improvements the game can make. With developers listening to the community, these improvements can also make their way to the game.
Thank you for the update. Most of the performance mode issues has been fixed thought some issues still persists. For example, when fighting near Northreach, if you face the camera to the market near the front gate, the FPS would drop to 30. Hope this kind of issues would be fixed

Finally no more motion blur. I really don't understand why that wasn't an option to turn off from the beginning??? Hopefully this update fixes the bad frame rate issues as well
