This upcoming game would feature some really interesting biomes, but it would not be an open-world journey. Even though it would feature decently large areas to explore, it appears it would be somewhere below the territory of semi-open world titles.

Players can only control Clive

This game is much different than its predecessor in one big way. While in combat mode, unlike its predecessors, players would not be controlling their party members. The only character they get to control is the main character himself.

Occasional allies

While on his journey, Clive would meet a bunch of allies who would be able to help him in the fights that awaited him. These party members would change chapter after chapter, and they would also vary in type and abilities.

This would definitely be something to look forward to a new cast of characters in almost every chapter.

Big inspirations for a darker tale

This final fantasy game takes inspiration from big franchises like God of War and Game of Thrones for their very dark aesthetics as well as their mature story. The game might just be the very first game in the series to feature a story with race and genocide as its primary elements. This is something every fan of the game is very excited to experience.

A Huge Hub Awaits

This game would not be an open world and would feature a number of separate, little open areas very similar to those in Dark Souls titles. Hence, very much like those games, this one would also feature a big hub area called Cid’s Hideaway.
