Final Fantasy XIV All Set For a Crossover with FF VII Ever Crisis

Final Fantasy XIV is a very popular MMORPG. This online game has only evolved since its launch back in 2010. Over the years it has developed a heavy number of fans and regular players. Square Enix has made sure fans playing this game have a steady flow of content every few months. Recently the game received its latest update with tonnes of new quests and items. On the other hand Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis is yet another online game but for mobile platforms. Both these games have an unprecedented amount of fans playing them day and night.

Those fans would be glad to know that a very exciting crossover is about to take place between these two RPG games. Those who participate in this crossover would be able to participate in a bunch of exciting new missions and will also be able to earn themselves a number of exciting new rewards.

Final Fantasy XIV characters would look even better post-FF VII Ever Crisis crossover

Final Fantasy XIV is hitting its 14th year very soon. The game would be getting a massive new update very soon that would bring a bunch of extra content to it. This would give newcomers a great doorway top get into this game. It would also give fans who stopped playing it a great incentive to start playing it all over again. Ever Crisis on the other hand launched only last month and it is already winning hearts everywhere. And so, Square Enix decided top to mix things up and bring these games together.

Yes, it has recently been announced via X that these two online games, FF VII and FF XIV, would soon be crossing paths, and fans participating in this would be left with much more than just an exciting experience. This crossover would get XIV characters a bunch of new cosmetic items.

Alongside all this, this event would also add Black Waltz as a brand-new boss to Final Fantasy XIV. This is not a one-way deal either, fans playing Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis would also notice characters dressed in Final Fantasy IX character gear.

This is a very exciting time for any Final Fantasy fan to start playing one of these games and participate in this crossover. The crossover event would start on November 9, 2023, and end on a yet undisclosed date.

If you had been holding up playing Final Fantasy XIV because of it being missing on the Xbox Series console, then fret not, the game would make its debut on Xbox’s latest generation of consoles next year.

It is a historical step that Square Enix is changing with this new platform as before Final Fantasy XIV was only available for Playstation consoles and PCs. In fact, it launched for Playstation 5 back in 2021. So gear up for a different kind of experience coming your way next year.
