Developed on Unreal Engine 4, this game was unlike anything the fans and supporters of this series imagined it to be.

Aside from visual upgrades and gameplay changes, this game upgraded the story by adding a bunch of new elements to it. This change came to this game both as a blessing and a curse.

When the Final Fantasy VII Remake saw was launched, many noticed that the story seemed incomplete. According to the trailer reveals, the game is being developed as an episodic retelling of the classic title. This means there would be a sequel to this title that would launch sometime in the future.

This sequel, though, did not have any launch date, and for some time it did not even have a name. Eventually, the name Rebirth came to light, but no one knew when this game would actually launch. No one even knew what it looked like.

But during the recent Summer Game Fest, Square Enix launched a trailer that opened with none other than Sephiroth, before shifting to Cloud, continuing his adventure from the remake.

This trailer proved those people wrong who used to think that it would take as long as the original remake to launch. Fans are hoping that the reports are right and that this game will launch in 2024 and not any later.
