Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is ready to set a new standard for the FF series. The game’s upgraded graphics and enhanced storytelling are going to set it apart from any other game in the series. The game will be a throwback to the original game with a lot of the story remaining the same, but will also take a twist and players will get to experience some in-detail lore of Final Fantasy 7.
The devs have announced that the map will be much bigger than what players got to see in Final Fantasy VII Remake. That being said players will have options like chocobos and vehicles to travel in the game. With the map being so big, the devs have also added interesting features for players to travel in the game.

In a recent video uploaded on Twitter, one player showcases the fast traveling option in this PlayStation 5 exclusive game Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. In the video, the player is standing next to his chocobo and he activates the fast travel option. Upon doing so, a map pops up and the player can see all the areas he has explored. He then picks a location and fast-travels to a city from the wilderness. While scrolling through the map the player also mentions the scale of the map and speaks about unexplored areas.

Although fast travel is not a new feature in the Final Fantasy series, this will be the first time it can truly be appreciated because of the map size. While there are other modes of transport for players to explore the map, once players have visited a location, they can fast-travel between waypoints.

While this is not the first game to introduce fast travel, fans have always appreciated this feature in games. Fast traveling makes a game more accessible for players who want to get straight into action and not spend time traveling from one point to another. This feature has enhanced the gameplay aspect of Final Fantasy games in the past and it will continue to do so.
