FaZe Clan in Crisis: Member Breaks Silence on Root Causes of Company’s Downfall

The famous American gaming corporation, FaZe Clan, is going through some hard times. From massive layoffs, and removing big chunks of staff from the company to falling values in the stock market. In these challenging times, the Company is facing another serious threat, as their once invaluable content creators, who helped it become what it is today, have decided to speak against the corporation. 

Previously, veteran members FaZe Rain and FaZe Teeqo had broken their silence, spilling out some severe accusations about the company. Monetary wrongdoings and disrespectful demeanor towards the creators were some of them. To add to the pile, yet another veteran clan member, Adapt, has come forward with his accusations, answering the fan’s queries about how the clan ‘fell off’. 

FaZe Adapt reveals some serious problems with the company

In a recent short video on his Twitter handle, Adept shared how the power roles had restricted him from making some good changes in the company, making it more sustainable and better overall. He shared, FaZe was his true love. This sense of powerlessness made him desperate and try to make himself heard. 

“Obviously there’s a lot of problems at FaZe Clan, inside and outside the company. Things that if they were up to me, I would do differently. But it’s not up to me and it’s never been upto me. There’s conversations that happened, decisions that were made that I am not in the room for,” said Adapt, sharing the current situation regarding the gaming corporation. 

FaZe Teeqo had also commented on how the company has been favoring people that had no connection with the industry over its original creators that have been with it for years. “Someone else can come in as late as last year, who’s not from this industry, never lifted a finger for FaZe, probably didn’t even know what FaZe was, and get three times the amount of shares that I have, and an annual salary that’s more money than I’ve ever been paid by FaZe,” he said.

Looking at the backlash from the members as well as the fans and communities, the Clan decided to make an official statement. On Twitter, they said they are “working hard towards fixing” the problems in the company. They are looking forward “to have all the OGs sit down together soon, and we don’t want to do that without everyone.”

The Tweet also attracted the attention of YouTube’s King, MrBeast. He said content creators aka the OGs Should be in charge. “They should be the people in charge. When I visited not a single person I met had any idea how to make a good piece of content,” said MrBeast.
