The brand new trailer of Forspoken is out, and the trailer is pretty meaty. The trailer gives fans a pretty close look at what the game will offer. It majorly showcases the hero of the game, Frey Holland, as she entered the mesmerizing yet dangerous world of Athia. Fans can also have a look at her background story with multiple other juicy details.

It also provides a much closer look at combats with a touch of magic and an acrobatic movement system. Well, according to the PlayStation official blog, it answers multiple questions like: “what is the deal with the sneakers?” and “how did she end up at Athia?”

Forspoken: Characters, Storyline, and Music

According to the official blog post, Frey is a directionless yet smart young woman who has experienced a very rough upbringing in the city of dreams, New York. She is about to turn 21, but lives a muddled life. Now comes the ultimate twist. She is now magically transported to a beautiful world of fantasies and nightmares. As announced earlier, Ella Balinska is the voice of Frey. There are other fascinating characters as well, such as:

  • Cuff– Played by Jonathan Cake. Cuff is Frey’s companion who helps Frey navigate through the Athia. It is a magical, sentient bracelet.
  • Tanta Sila– Played by Janina Gavankar. Sila is the strongest tanta in Athia. She has protected Athia with her powers.
  • Auden– Played by Monica Barbaro. The loving, kind, and open-minded young women who helped Frey a lot in this strange world. She is the one who accepted Frey the most and motivates Frey a lot.

The music in the trailer is also pretty amazing as it was composed by the one and only Bear McCreary (from God of War and Walking Dead). The music in the trailer is a fusion of contemporary beats and fantasy tones. Forspoken is all set to release in Spring 2022 for PlayStation 5 and PC.
