Back in 2017, when players were going around gathering abilities to fight the all-powerful Calamity Ganon, a bunch of NPCs known as the Champions aided them.

They were the leaders of those different tribes that helped Link reach those divine beasts. The story is that, when Ganon came to Hyrule years ago to try and take over Hyrule, these Champions fought together along with Link to stop him.

When Link slipped into that long cryogenic sleep, Ganon attacked again, and most of these champions perished. Ganon even captured their souls inside the divine beasts, and that’s why when Link freed the divine beasts one by one, these champions got free too. They even offered Link their unique abilities. But not all of them were fan favorites.

And a recent fan poll suggests that there was one champion that fans hated the most. YouTuber ZackScottGames used a poll to find out which of the champions fans did not want in the game at all, and most of them selected Revali. A whopping 67% of fans voted in favor of locking up this bird guy forever.

Even though there is no confirmation as of yet about the return of those champions, fans really seem to hate this champion. The game trailers instead showcase Link fighting alongside a bunch of new allies, which seems exciting in its own way.

One must understand, though, that there’s a dark side to this poll. As suggested before, players free the souls of these champions when freeing divine beasts. And if they choose not to have Revali in the game, that means they want him locked away forever. This sure sounds pretty hard on the guy. So, which one is your least favorite champion?
