The American video game giant has been under a lot of pressure from fans after their latest AAA venture, Battlefield 2042, failed miserably.

With the ‘He/She’s a 10 but’ trend, EA took a dig at people who prefer playing single-player games. But, EA themselves have published some of the most popular video games with single-player modes like Titanfall 2, Fallen Order, and several more.

Single-player games have shaped the vision of gaming since the very beginning. In fact, many video game fans prefer playing both single and multiplayer games. Popular campaigns from video games are usually single-player. Although multiplayer games seem to be more fun to most gamers, the choice is pretty personal.

Fans bash EA for using a trend wrong

The ‘He/She’s a 10 but’ trend first originated on TikTok and spread across the internet like wildfire. Many indulged in the viral meme, which rates an imaginary person with 10 and then follows it with a comment that nullifies the earlier rating.

EA took the opportunity to make a comparison with gamers who love single-player games.

As EA took an unfavorable dig at single-player gamers, several people from the community reacted to their tweet. Among the first was Jacksepticeye, a popular Irish YouTuber, who used the trend to prove his point.

Paul Tassi, a notable author for Forbes, also reacted to EA’s unnecessary tweet.

Tequila Works is a boutique studio in Spain that excels at creating single-player games. Some of the most notable video game titles from them are Rime and Deadlight.

Like Fallen Order, the upcoming sequel, Star Wars Jedi Survivor is also expected to be a single-player game.
