Call of Duty‘s latest addition to the franchise Modern Warfare 3 is just a month away from its release. And as usual, fans are totally excited about the game. One of the features that has fans thrilled is the Zombies mode. However, while Activision is bringing back the undead as well as many other features, fans still demand classic vintage Call of Duty gameplay modes.

Now die-hard Call of Duty fans can talk about the classic Team Deathmatch or Domination for hours and the most intense war moments they experienced. But in the meantime, there is a demand for some popular game modes to return. Will it happen? Or is it just wishful thinking?

Fans demand classic COD game modes in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3

While Activision has already brought many surprises for Call of Duty fans, players are yet to be fully convinced. Moreover, instead of new game modes, fans urge developers to bring the old modes back into their upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. These game modes are Hardcore, Demolition, Gun Fight, Prop Hunt, Infected and Gun Game. In fact, COD fans have been asking Activision to return them these vintage gameplay modes since day 1 of Modern Warfare 3 without a rotational order.

Among these modes, Hardcore is an exclusive multiplayer mode offering a tough and realistic war experience that entertained fans for long. Similarly, Prop Hunt became an equally popular mode where teams chose to become either hunters or random props. Fans also showed enormous support for both Infected and Gun Game modes.

Now it is not surprising that COD fans want these vintage COD game modes back permanently as a tribute to the old titles. Whether Activision hears them out or not is not known. But The latest Modern Warfare 3 modes will surely shine in the players’ eyes like diamonds.

Did Activision pay heed to fans’ demands already?

While fans are demanding the vintage COD game modes, Activision already dropped some renowned COD multiplayer game modes in the upcoming Modern Warfare 3.

Developers confirmed the following game modes:

Team Deathmatch, Deathmatch, Domination, War, Gun Game, Search and Destroy, Control, Hardpoint, Headquarters, Invasion, cutthroat and Ground War.

In the meantime, players can try out the ongoing MW3 Beta. While the first weekend was exclusively for PlayStation players, the second, ongoing weekend is for Xbox and pc users as well. And it includes a lot of rewards too. So, hurry up to explore Call of Duty’s true war-centric environment before you decide to cut a hole in your pocket with $70.
