Horizon Forbidden West was finally released on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on February 18. It is a single-player open-world game set in a post-apocalyptic version of the western United States. Furthermore, it is the sequel to 2017’s Horizon Zero Dawn, which has an enormous fanbase in the community.
Unfortunately, developers didn’t announce if Forbidden West will receive DLC or microtransactions. Interestingly, its predecessor did get a large DLC expansion, called Horizon The Frozen Wilds. Therefore, there is a high possibility that we might see a DLC for Forbidden West in the future.
Not to mention, Genshin Impact and Horizon Forbidden West also had a crossover where Genshin Impact users got a free five-star character named Alloy (protagonist of Horizon Zero Dawn).
