Nintendo has witnessed a huge success this year already, with the likes of Pokemon Legends: Arceus, Kirby and the Forgotten Land, and Switch Sports. Although the recent release in Mario Strikers failed to impress a majority of the fans, the company seems to be in a solid position at the moment.
That’s because it’s yet to reveal the rest of the line-up for the remaining half of 2022. Moving towards its goal, the developer and publisher has finally announced the much-awaited and highly rumored Nintendo Direct Mini.

It implies that the event may not turn out to be exciting for those waiting for any updates on Bayonetta 3, Splatoon 3, or even Zelda 2. So it was obvious to expect a mixed response on the social media, following the reveal of the Direct Mini.
While some fans are curious about it, without hoping for major news, others are simply frustrated with Nintendo. Firstly, have a look at some of the favorable reactions:

With a year 2022 that's already packed with many great games for #NintendoSwitch and among them the wonderful Xenoblade 3 I have no specific demand: I'll take whatever they give us, I just want to enjoy this and have some cool new games to talk about 🙂

Oh wow. They actually did it lol. Well, I’m ok with this. Dragon quest treasures and Bayonetta 3 will probably both be here. So sounds good to me

Now, for some negative reactions from the players who are just disappointed with the inclusion of third-party games. They just wanted Nintendo’s own projects to get an update on their upcoming releases.

I'm shaking rn. My 2 year old son just said his first words. He said "Is it true that Nintendo is a horrible company and they don't care about their fans? and I said "Yes son". I couldn't lie to him. It was one of the realest moments of my life.

Nintendo started the year on such a high note wtf are they doing over there now? We want new Mario Kart 8 Tracks, new NSO stuff,News on Splatoon 3, and new games to look forward to. Not a bunch of games that'll play better on other consoles. Non-Xenoblade fans got nothing.
