Recently, Mia Yim, on her Twitter account, asked her fans to give their opinion on Elden Ring. She asked the question after witnessing that the most anticipated game of 2022 had received somewhat mixed reactions.

Fans share their thoughts with Mia Yim on FromSoftware’s Elden Ring
FromSoftware and Bandai Namco’s hyped title arrived last week amidst rave reviews from mostly the critics of various outlets. In fact, on Metacritic, Elden Ring is one of the best rated games of all time as of now.
However, once it reached gamers after they received their copies, the reaction was slightly different from what the critics had mentioned. While some users reported PC related issues, others revealed they had problem running Elden Ring on the Xbox.
Following such a turn of events, even Mia Yim, the former WWE star wrestler, couldn’t resist from reacting to the game’s current state. In a tweet, she tried to know what’s exactly the situation with Elden Ring – is it good or bad?
I’m hearing mixed reviews of Elden Ring. Why?? Good or nah?
— Mia Yim (@MiaYim) February 27, 2022
Posting this question, she asked her fans to share their gameplay experience or opinion on the immensely hyped release of the year.
As soon as Mia shared this question, fans provided their views on Elden Ring. Some of them stated that it’s not bad but is more difficult than imagined by those who were curious to play it before launch.
Other people shared that this game is only for those who have tried Souls-like titles in the past. Few others reportedly witnessed various bugs and performance-centric issues on either the PC or the Xbox.
A user aptly wrote this to summarize the case with the title’s difficulty: “It doesn’t hold your hand at all.”
if you enjoy Soulslike games, it's good. If you don't it's bad. the game assumes you played some other Dark Souls before so it doesn't hold your hand at all

If you like Souls games, it’s really, really good. If you aren’t a fan of them, it probably still won’t be for you.

It's an expansive world
The combat is tough but fair
It doesn't hold your hand (which is good and bad)It's a step back visually from Horizon Forbidden West and the PS5 remake of Demon's Souls.
In fact,if u haven't played the Demon's Souls remake give it a try,Jessamyn has.

Its really good but for the most part I just keep hearing people don't like it cuz it's too hard. Just from what I've seen.

Likely due to the PC version since there's a lot of case-by-case problems with the PC build, some are having isuses while others have a smooth experience

I’m not a Souls fan at all (played them but never really loved them outside of Bloodborne), and I am digging Elden Ring a lot. I don’t think it’s 10/10, but it’s definitely a solid 8/10, pushing 9/10. For reference, I consider 5/10 to be average.

Haven’t seen one mixed review nearly all major sites giving this game 10/10 5/5, it’s a souls like game you either love them for how hard an unforgiving they are or hate them for it. If you liked sekiro or blood borne then your in for a treat
— Jay Read (@simplyjambo) February 27, 2022
It's good if you've played the previous games. The people who are calling it bad got caught in the hype and just got the game without knowing how it's played.
If you're stuck on a boss you can easily go farm without it feeling like a chore since there are so many places to go.
— Lucky Wanderer (@T_O_W_N_) February 28, 2022
I think the huge reason for that is that the hype for the game reached people who have never played a Souls Game before. And they got a reality check. It's a style that's not for everyone.

I’ve never played Dark Souls and so far I am straight up not having a good time. If you like Dark Souls it seems that you’ll like it. I just don’t find the slam yourself against enemies and lose for hours at a time fun, but that’s just me. Beautiful looking game, though.

Im gonna get shit for this, but it's Dark Souls. If you like that, it's fine, if you don't don't piss and moan when it's too hard. Yeah yeah, there's an open world and more enemies and some new systems… but it's Dark Souls.

Mixed? The game fucking rules and it hates you. Anyone who’s played a souls game before knows the deal.
— Sosa (@ajaxtheax) February 27, 2022
If you like dark souls, you'll like Elden ring.

It’s a harder game to play. But if your good, you can do it
