Fans Go Crazy as Koei Tecmo Announces Fate/Samurai Remnant for 2023 Release in Collaboration With Sony Aniplex

Koei Tecmo has been busy. Having announced some really big games such as Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, Wild hearts, and Rise of Ronin, it seems they have no intention of stopping. Recently, Koei Tecmo announced yet another game in collaboration with Sony Aniplex in a very popular series with a huge fanbase.

The developer is working on this game with multiple partners. And it appears this game might be part of a huge series that Koei has been working on for years.

Koei Tecmo announced a new action-adventure RPG for Nintendo and Sony consoles

Koei Tecmo, the popular Japanese publisher and developer, has announced one more game that will release in 2023. This is the latest game in the Fate series of games. This series, as most fans might know, started with a visual novel. Now it has become successful enough to be made into a full-fledged action game.

The teaser did not show much but the graphical style and a cameo appearance of series regular Musashi Miyamoto.

Koei and Omega Force partnering on this game might mean that it would be the next musou game. Koei and Omega have been working on developing musou games for various platforms for years now.

It started with games like Dynasty Warriors, and Onimusha warriors and has evolved into crossovers like Hyrule Warriors, Fire Emblem Warriors, etc. These games usually feature a single overpowered character defeating hundreds of enemies using a myriad of weapons and abilities.

The Fate series has been usually about a bunch of characters being involved in a fantastical story. This leaves some room for action, but it never reaches the ridiculous heights of the Warrior games.

Fans are somewhat worried about this announcement

While many fans are ready to give this game a chance, others are worried that Koei would turn it into a mindless action game and others are worried that Koei is working on too many projects at once.

For the complainers Aniplex as stated is Sony owned so is the Fate IP so yeah I can see Sony as a whole not publishing this on the Xbox platform 🤷‍♀️

Koei Tecmo would be busy working on numerous projects such as Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, Wild hearts, Rise of Ronin, and even a new Ninja Gaiden title. Not every game would release this year, but we would still be awaiting their arrival.
