Nintendo has dropped a massive surprise for fans of Mario Kart. The company is set to organize a North America Open (tournament) later this month. Fans will also have the scope to obtain lucrative rewards. The Open tournament from Nintendo will feature Mario Kart 8 Deluxe-based competition.

Fans are enthusiastic about Nintendo North America Open March 2022

The official tweet from Nintendo’s America account shared the huge announcement on social media. Players will have three days, from March 25 to March 27 between 12 PM to 6 PM PT, to participate in the Open tournament.
To access the tournament, select the following, in order, within the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe game during the tournament period: Online Play, Tournaments, Search by Code.

Day 1: 2505-9356-8299
Day 2: 0102-0961-7451

Winning fans will get a chance to win My Nintendo Gold Points. The racers from the US, Canada, and Mexico are all eligible for the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Open.
The top eight players in the tournament will win 2500 My Nintendo Gold Points each day. They can redeem them on the eShop platform. Interested players need to follow these steps in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe in order to participate: Choose ‘Online Play’, then ‘Tournaments’, and ‘Search’ by the Code. The following codes can be used:
- Code for Day 1 ID: 2505-9356-8299
- Day 2 ID: 0102-0961-7451
- Day 3 ID: 4289-6892-8811
However, the announcement from Nintendo didn’t mention if any new tracks will appear in the Tournament.
Meanwhile, the fans of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe provided their reactions as soon as Nintendo revealed the news. Most of them seemed excited. Probably due to the fact that they are ready to show their skills in the March Open.

Meanwhile, Nintendo lovers are also hyped to see more future surprises from the publisher. There are tons of new releases coming soon, like Kirby and the Forgotten Land. The Switch exclusive makes its debut in March end.
Furthermore, there are Pokemon Scarlet and Violet and Zelda 2 as well. These two awaited titles are yet to receive a launch date from the developing team.
