It’s been a while since the 343 Industries launched the iconic Halo Infinite and fans are absolutely enjoying playing this latest installment of the Halo franchise. The first-person shooter game had a quite good launch, but it has its own share of problems. The fans have been facing some difficulties like match matching issues in big team battle mode, server and technical issues, and many more. The devs have been trying hard to fix these issues by launching updates and patches.

Recently, the devs launched the latest hotfix update in order to fix the in-game’s big team battle matchmaking issues. But this hotfix update didn’t turn out to be as effective as it’s supposed to be as the fans are still facing matchmaking issues. There are some minor improvements, but it’s still not enough. Moreover, 343 Industries’ community director has also addressed the issue on Twitter and has also apologized to the fans for the continued existence of the issue.

On January 20, 2022, the community director at 343 Industries, Brian Jarrard shared a post on Twitter, talking about this ongoing issue on Twitter. Brian shared that the hotfix update for Halo’s big team battle gaming mode didn’t turn out to be the final outcome that the devs had expected.

He also explained that despite some minor improvements, the major matchmaking issues are still there in the game. The director also expressed his gratitude towards all the devs who have been working hard to fix these issues. At last, Brian apologized to the fans and also said that the devs will continue working on the fix.

Halo Infinite latest hotfix update and fans react to it

Apart from improving the big team battle matchmaking issues, the hotfix update also has a lot more to offer the fans. The game has some exciting rewards for all the fans who’ll sign in between the duration of January 19, 2022, and February 16, 2022.
