It’s a big day for all Anime lovers! Anime is going to the next level as Funimation merges with Crunchyroll. This could completely change the way you now watch anime. The two anime streaming service platforms have merged together and now fall under the “Crunchyroll” name. From now on, on Crunchyroll, all subscribers will have access to Funimation’s content, including some classic anime libraries.

This news came as a big surprise treat to all anime lovers and this also includes the star streamer, TimTheTatman. As fans might already know, TimTheTatman is a huge anime fan, and he is more than excited about this development.

While talking about the merch, TimTheTatman tweeted, “I’m stoked that anime is going next level as @Funimation is becoming @Crunchyroll. More anime content in one place than ever before. Time for my next tattoo! What should I get to celebrate? #CrunchyrollPartner #AnimeNextLevel.

However, interestingly, fans were more excited to talk about his next tattoo idea rather than about this grand merge.

List of anime series coming to Crunchyroll after the grand merch

The list of anime coming to Crunchyroll is pretty long, and more and more shows are planned to be added as time goes by. With the merge, a fresh wave of shows and series are all set to make their way to Crunchyroll’s service platform. As of today (March 01, 2022) over 1600 hours of new anime content (that roughly means over 50 shows) from Funimation are now available on Crunchyroll.

Some of the widely popular series that are making their way to Crunchyroll from Funimation includes, Akudama Drive (Sub and Dub), Black Clover Episodes 1-170, Dr. STONE, High School DxD Hero, Hunter x Hunter Episodes 1-75, Tokyo Ghoul, The Dungeon of Black Company and this list goes on and on. Additionally, another Crunchyroll prime offering will also include – Demon Slayer Season 2 and Attack of Titan Season 4.

As expected, now with this merge Crunchyroll has become the ultimate platform for anime lovers to get their hands on sub, dubs, films, and series in over 200 countries in 10 different languages. However, interestingly, the pricing will be the same for Crunchyroll even after the merge.
