Fans of God of War are finally getting what they wished for. A live-action series based on their favorite hack-and-slash action series. The series is based on ideas that are a mix of Nordic mythology and some fiction.

When the news broke that Amazon has finally ordered a season of God of War, fans started talking. The biggest subject of conversation was, who would play Kratos, the main protagonist of the game.

Fans started pitching the names of various actors. While some supported Christopher judge, others went for WWE star Triple H. But a recent rumor has all the fans worried!

Fans do not want this actor to be Kratos in the God of War series!

While fans were busy with discussions of casting their favorite actors in this game, someone took notice of something curious. A Reddit user by the name of happi_botmun1538 mentioned that they noticed, Tom Holland is somehow part of most Sony films.

He is Spider-man in Sony’s Spider-man films and also played Nathan Drake in Sony’s Uncharted movie. Uncharted for some reason didn’t live up to its expectations post-release.

So one thing led to another and people started requesting Sony to not cast Tom Holland as Kratos in the upcoming series.

While some are worried that Spider-Man star has infiltrated the cast already, others are pretty confident that this would not be happening. On account of Tom Holland not being physically suitable for this role in general.

The actor Playing the role of Kratos needs to have bulky physical features as that is how the character himself actually looks in the game.

There’s no official announcement on the cast yet

Even though there are a lot of discussions and speculations about this show’s casting, Sony and Amazon are yet to make an official announcement on the same.

God of War’s creative director and executive producer on the series Cory Barlog took to Twitter to announce that fans would have to wait a little longer for any further updates.

No one is currently in the position to speculate anything, given the fact that there’s not even the slightest hint at what is happening. The only thing that fans know for sure is that the series would follow the story of the 2018 game and not that of the games that came before.
