The phenomenal action RPG single-player game Wither 3: Wild Hunt was promised a next-gen upgrade for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Recently the official page of the Witcher 3 revealed some in-game visuals of the remake, making fans overwhelmed with joy.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is a 2015 action role-playing game developed and published by CD Projekt. It is the sequel to the 2011 game The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings. The game has a third-person camera and a vast open-world map, with in-depth RPG mechanics.
The game series is based on the novels by Andrzej Sapkowski. The story of Witcher follows the adventures of Monster Hunter, Geralt of Rivia; Princess turned Witcher Ciri; Yennefer of Vengerberg; and more. The characters fight and survive the threads of fate in a dark and cruel world filled with mysteries and monsters.
The gaming adaptation of the novels gained a lot of recognition and praise from critics and players. Especially the third installment of the series, the Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The game received over 200 awards, including the prestigious “Game of the Year” in 2015.
Witcher 3 receives its much anticipated “next-gen” upgrade
The critically acclaimed and fan-favorite Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was confirmed as a next-gen remaster to the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. The Developers of the game, CD Projekt RED, had confirmed that this will be a free upgrade for the existing owners.
On November 23, 2022, the official Twitter of The Witcher posted a tweet, revealing the in-game visuals of the game. In the tweet, they wrote, “Relive the story loved by millions! Free next-gen update for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is coming to PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S|X on December 14th, 2022!”

So far, the team has confirmed the upgrade will have improved visuals, a much smoother frame rate, haptic feedback, more side quests, cross-platform progression, Ray Tracing, and much more. The game will also feature some quality-of-life improvements to give the players a much more fluid experience this time. It is set for release on December 14, 2022.
How did fans react to the latest reveal?
The fans were over the moon seeing the amazing quality of the game. They couldn’t believe how polished and great it looks. Many claimed this was a worthy upgrade to the legendary franchise. Some even claimed that they couldn’t believe this upgrade was actually free.
