The Nintendo Switch is soon getting a new game, and most of its users have been awaiting this title for years now. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is the sequel to one of the biggest launch tiles for this hybrid console, and it’s only fitting that it launches at the end of its life cycle.

Even though it started life as a DLC, the expansion of ideas led Nintendo to turn it into a full-fledged sequel. And now, fans have found a detail in Breath of the Wild that connects these games even further.

Fans might have found an in-game connection between Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and its prequel!

Gamers are very curious by nature; when they see an unusual place. They want to visit it and explore it. And when a sequel is announced, for some reason, they go back to the prequel, looking for any connections between them.

This started with the launch of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom too, and one gamer even succeeded in finding a small connection. They found it in the Gerudo Highlands, the location of the graves of seven Gerudo heroines. The speculation has always been that there were eight of those. No one knows where the last one went; this new discovery might have provided an answer though.

There were some hints at the existence of these eight heroines in the previous game. And recently, a Reddit user by the name of TheEggRoller visited those graves. They noticed that one of them had a tear with a red backdrop, which connects it to Ganondorf.

This connection was established in the latest trailer for the game. In this trailer, Ganon sports a similar tear embedded on his head. Now fans suggest that maybe Ganon got this tear from that eighth-missing heroine. And it is also suggested that she might have handed it over to him voluntarily.

This is an interesting find for sure—if it’s true, that is—as fans make numerous speculations almost every day. Many of them are compelling, but not all of them are true. This one seems logical, and it seems true too, but fans would have to wait for the game to launch to confirm its authenticity.
