But a recent announcement has made not just the fans of the game happy, but also the fans of the extremely popular meta show Rick and Morty hyped as well. The official account of the game shared a trailer showing everyone’s favorite grandpa Rick Sanchez coming out of a portal behind his army of Mr. Meeseeks.

This was especially exciting as the recent season of the fan-favorite show is already airing every Sunday and episode 4 of the show’s season 6 is just around the corner. Therefore, a trailer of Rick in MultiVersus gave a lot to talk about to the fans of both the show and the game. Here are some of them.

How fans reacted to Rick Sanchez’s entry to MultiVersus?

In the official tweet by MultiVersus when they announced the arrival of grandpa Rick in the game, fans couldn’t believe themselves and were super excited about the announcement. Some fans had wide eyes as Grandpa Rick came literally ‘burping’ out of his portal.

While some fans had been waiting for the arrival of Rick in the game for some time, it is to be noted that Morty was already in the game for some time now.

Thus, it will be interesting to see the duo brawling against other WB fan favorites, or even amongst themselves. Notably, there was no official date for his arrival, thus making fans anxious.

One thing that some fans pointed out was the fact that this was a one-of-a-kind trailer as no other character before this had ever received an animated trailer for themselves, only like Rick did. This shows how the arrival of Rick Sanchez changes a lot for the game, as he is a great character to add hype towards the first season of the game.

Notably, Rick Sanchez was teased by the game in August this year only when the announcement for Season 1 was going on. Additionally, Black Adam was also teased by the official website of the game, and it is believed that the character might appear along with the release of the movie, on October 21.

With the latest episode of Rick and Morty just around the corner, fans are hyped about the fate of the duo in this season. As in the past 3 episodes, it was clearly shown that Rick is trying his level best to keep his newly found family safe from “Weird Rick“, while also having separate adventures with his grandson Morty.
