One of the most popular game streaming platforms, Twitch, confirmed a massive data breach. According to Twitter, a hacker accessed the company’s server. The team is working on it to get some inside details about the breach. The company also highlighted the point that personal information, such as login credentials, addresses, or any credit card, has not been exposed.

As per some reports, hackers have so far leaked information and data (125GB information) on the internet that includes creators’ Twitch earnings, source code, and encrypted passwords. Various digital experts are advising Twitch users to change their passwords immediately for their own safety. In fact, it’s much better to turn on two-factor authentication if you are not using it already. Well, it is better to be safe than sorry, right?
PSA: If you have a Twitch account, you should change your password as soon as possible.
Twitch has suffered a data breach and *everything* has been leaked although the passwords should be encrypted.

Reactions of popular streamers on Twitch data leak
Currently, the leak has been named as “part one”, suggesting that there could be more to come. It makes sense that the hackers are planning to spread the leak in parts. Above all, the recent leak revealed the earnings of some of the most popular Twitch channels from August 2019 to October 2021. Highly popular streamers like Pokimane, xQc, Tfue, and Asmongold are at the top of the list.

Some creators are saying that the numbers are accurate while, on the other hand, streamers like Asmongold are saying that the numbers are not correct.
