Reputed platform Digital Foundry recently conducted a panel discussion on its main YouTube channel as part of the weekly episode. It featured tech experts Richard Leadbetter, John Linneman, and Alex Battaglia. They talked about various gaming news that surfaced in the past weeks.

While mentioning Nintendo’s plans for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2, they discussed its latest trailer. Breaking it down, the experts reached the conclusion of predicting that the next entry won’t be running on the original Nintendo Switch. Because the trailer showcases extremely high details in terms of offering brilliant anti-aliasing, 1080p/720p rendering, or even draw distances.

Alex Battaglia, one of the three experts, believes that the trailer of the upcoming sequel had perfect anti-aliasing. This is very rare to be implemented even in a next-gen console like the Xbox Series X, according to Battaglia.

Moreover, volumetric clouds also appeared smoothly in the clip without any hiccups. It further implies that there might be a brand new Switch device that is powering The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2. In fact, this might be the perfect time for the rumors of a Nintendo Switch Pro to gain heavy momentum. Because the trailer has presented vast possibilities for its future.
