Amouranth has dropped her first-hand views on whether she would own an e-Sports team, but there’s a catch.
In the past few years, several streamers have opted for the e-Sports space as a new venture. They have branched out investments to teams, diversifying their portfolios whenever possible. Among the set of streamers who have ventured into this domain in recent times, one name stands out—that of Ludwig Ahgren, who has invested a huge sum of money in an e-Sports team. He partnered with MoistCr1TiKaL earlier this year and became a co-owner of Moist Esports. Shortly after Ludwig’s joined the organization, it was announced that Moist Esports would expand to Valorant as well.

Soon, the topic received a lot of attention, with rumors spreading about streamers forming/signing with e-Sports teams in different genres. Along those lines, we asked Amouranth about her thoughts on taking up a similar adventure in the e-Sports space during an exclusive interview recently.
Will Twitch Megastar Amouranth Ever Own an e-Sports Team?
During an exclusive interview with Essetinallysports, Amouranth shared her thoughts on owning an e-Sports team. She looked positive in her approach as she gave a detailed answer.
Here’s what she said, “I would own at least part of an e-Sports team. I don’t think I would want to be, like, the sole owner, but I would definitely own part of it if I joined an org and got some stake, and I think that’d be pretty cool.”
She continued by laying down reasons for not owning an entire team as she felt there is no single popular game currently. Rather, she would like to apply the 100 Thieves’ strategy of branching out and diversifying the efforts whenever possible.

“I don’t even know what would be the best genre. I don’t think there’s one specific e-Sport right now that’s super popular. I think it’s more like the personality route kind of like 100 Thieves has done with a diversified just into creators who don’t even game. Just a variety of creators not like one specific professional game league,” the Twitch Queen added.

Amouranth’s statements give an insight into the current scenario in e-Sports and why diversifying could be the best way to move forward at present. It will be interesting to see if she, like Ludwig Ahgren, goes ahead with plans to own an e-Sports team. Moreover, given how witty, smart, and hardworking she is and the business acumen she brings to the table, it won’t come as a surprise if an e-Sports team having her as an owner sees exponential growth.
