A clip for the upcoming zombie mode in Warzone

Call of Duty, on Twitter, shared a short teaser of what’s upcoming for Rebirth Island in Warzone. The teaser, although short, was enough to excite zombie fans. With Season 4 Reloaded incoming, no one will ever really die on Rebirth Island!

The upcoming zombie mode, called the Rebirth of the Dead, is actually based on an old Warzone mode. According to a previous announcement, the older Zombie Royale mode in Warzone, which Beenox created, is now reimagined and deployed in the game as Rebirth of the Dead. The mode is, of course, exclusive to the Rebirth Island map.

As Operators try to eliminate threats, which showed up as a result of uncontrolled experiments on the Rebirth Island, they will be put in teams of 4 and battle 9 other squads of fellow Operators too! The interesting thing to note here is, that if an Operator dies, he/she will return to the game as a zombie. Moreover, a zombie can return to the game as an Operator by collecting 4 anti-virals.

Alongside the zombie mode for Rebirth Island, Fortune’s Keep is also hosting a public zombie-based event. The Cursed Ground Public Event is for Operators who are competent enough to defeat a horde of undead! The reward? A horde of rewards, such as Cash, Killstreaks, Equipment, and if lucky, Perk Tokens!

Will Rebirth of the Dead be able to impress fans?

Although it seems to be a pretty interesting mode, the Rebirth of the Dead announcement received fairly mixed reactions from fans. According to some, Activision has run out of original ideas. Even though it is a reimagined version of a classic favorite mode, Rebirth of the Dead may fail to thrill fans with its release.

Then again, the announcement did manage to interest a few.
