Something very exciting may be knocking on the doors of Hogwarts Legacy fans! A few assuring leaks have not only given out details of the game’s editions but also hinted at an announcement nearing. WB Games and Avalanche Software didn’t announce the release date of the much-anticipated action-adventure video game. However, they did announce a vague release window of Fall 2022, allowing fans to have some relief.

Then again, it has been quite some time since the developers announced the release window. Fans have been demanding a concrete release date for a long time. Although most fans expect the release to happen in December, they were hoping to be able to pre-order the game at least. Other than bits and pieces of the expected gameplay, the developers have given out only little details regarding production.
Now, fans have run into a set of leaks that teases what the different editions of Hogwarts Legacy may include. The leaks also hint at early access to the game, only if players buy a version, other than the base game.
Leaks feature Hogwarts Legacy Collector’s and Deluxe Edition details
An eagle-eyed and brainy fan did some intricate research on a month-old leak, only to land on some details not meant to be displayed officially yet. According to him, activating a few components on the official Hogwarts Legacy website showed him many important details regarding the editions.

A month back, another enthusiast had gotten his hands on the entire list of DLC/extras, and now, fans have proof of the same in a picture!
According to the latest screenshot, Hogwarts Legacy will be available for 72-hour-early access before launch. However, only players who buy the Collector’s Edition or Deluxe Edition will get to access the game earlier.
The Standard Edition, as expected, will include just the base game. On the other hand, Deluxe and Collector’s Edition come with a plethora of goodies. The Deluxe Edition includes the following, apart from the base game:
- Threstal Mount
- Dark Arts Cosmetic Pack
- Dark Arts Battle Arena
- Kelpie Robe
- Dark Arts Garrison Hat
- 72 Hours Early Access
The Collector’s Edition includes all the above, plus two physical collectibles:
- Steel Case
- A floating ancient magic wand with a book
What are the speculations surrounding the leak?
Many fans are speculating Dark Arena to be a Day 1 DLC, as the lack of further details prevents them from coming to a definite conclusion.

While some of the most intriguing details have surfaced, fans don’t yet know important dates and the prices of the said editions. However, Hogwarts Legacy was up for pre-order from select retailers (Best Buy) from early this year, at $70 (next-gen) or $60 (last-gen) for the base game. The rate for the base game will remain the same, but fans don’t yet know the prices for the other editions.
The fan being able to pull up this information, now hints at Avalanche Software planning to make an announcement soon. If so, they should address the major fan anticipation as soon as possible!
