Former Nintendo Minute show hosts have broken the silence about why Nintendo might skip E3 2023, and fans have started making theories.

A few days back, news flew in claiming Nintendo and Playstation to miss out on E3 2023. At first, it felt that it could be fake, as the two names remained strong rulers of the industry. But then, ReedPop, the organization conducting this year’s event, backed the information. Apparently, they were unsure as to why the companies opted out, as the event gave them enough platform to showcase their games. Plus, it was a fun way for fans to learn about the upcoming games and decide on their favorites – the ones to buy and to skip.

However, it looks like PS and Nintendo fans might need to wait longer until the franchises decide to make the big reveals. But amidst that, we have Kit and Krysta, who might have a theory about why Nintendo might be walking past E3.

Ex-Nintendo show hosts feel that fans would find out why Nintendo is quitting E3 this year soon

In 2022, Nintendo Minute show hosts Kit and Krysta announced their exit from the platform. They walked out of the company after spending 25 years combined, looking for better opportunities. For instance, they started their youtube channel, as well as a podcast talking about games.

But their time at Nintendo helped them gain much insight into the company, let alone how it always functions. We all know Nintendo and its goofy nature, so even if they have multiple projects lined up, they would only reveal them at their convenience.

Kit Ellis reacted to one of the recent articles, talking about theories as to why the Japanese giant might miss E3. Apparently, the article claimed a ‘weak second half schedule of games for 2023, and Ellis did not find it true.

According to him, the video game company is one of the most secretive companies in the world, and wouldn’t be “telling the Entertainment Software Association or anybody that they have a weak schedule of games,” stating that he doesn’t “believe” that to be the case. Instead, he says, “maybe there’s another reason that Nintendo’s skipping E3,” and that we “might be finding it out sooner than later.”
