Genshin Impact update 2.1’s probable release date and rewards

The next major update for the title is going to release on August 31st, 2021 worldwide. Much like every other version update, even this one will support the preinstallation feature. Gamers can install all the necessary files and data ahead of the date, which will help you jump right into the game.

Moreover, the servers are going to see usual maintenance and it will last for 5-hours. Gamers will experience the server shutdown and they will only resume around 11:00 pm. miHoYo generously rewards a good chunk of free primogems for the number of hours the server remains shut. Quick math would suggest that after the patch goes live, everyone will receive 300 primogems as a reward for the community’s patience.
