The first and most important thing to know for every fan is whether their PC would even be able to run Starfield. It is no doubt a heavy game, given that players go around exploring planets at hyper-speed. Also, those settlements are huge, and this game features a much more competitive AI director too.
All these things add up and push the system requirements for this game way higher than a typical Bethesda game. Keeping all these things in mind, let us take a look at the minimum and recommended system requirements for Starfield.

It’s pretty evident from the system requirements alone that this game is not going to be an easy thing to handle for an average PC. If fans want the best experience possible, we suggest they target the recommended settings of the game and upgrade their PC accordingly.
Doing so would allow them to play these games with the highest graphic settings at 1440p or 4K.
What display should you play it on?
When it comes to games that look like they have jumped straight out of a Christopher Nolan production, we would say it would be worth it to play them on an IMAX screen. But, of course, that is just a dream that most gamers have, as playing games on that screen is either impossible or impossibly expensive.
The second-best option, of course, is a huge 4K TV, and we would recommend an OLED, or at least a QLED. OLED’s self-lit pixels would assure players that they would see every single bit of detail in this game the moment it appeared on the screen. The same self-lit pixels would mean a much better response time when playing the game. also a much smoother frame rate, given the fact that most OLED TVs nowadays come with VRR support.
Then comes a QLED display, which is not as great as OLED but would give somewhat comparable visual fidelity, and most QLEDs are also accompanied by at least ALLM or VRR support.
Playing these games on huge TV screens is sure to give players the best experience when they are exploring uncharted planets. They would see every bit of detail when taking over enemy ships as pirates. Also, they would get a better look at their enemies when in the middle of a combat scenario, firing their guns and taking down whomever they are fighting.
A good display is always recommended when it comes to a visually impressive experience such as Starfield. And let’s not forget that fancy HDR support, that would make sure fans see every bit of detail in much more realistic lighting than any usual screen.
The best audio is a must!
Moving on from display, all that remains for us to discuss is an optimum audio setup for this game. It goes without saying that Starfield would support surround sound. Or virtual surround sound, at least. It is recommended that fans use their headphones with Windows spatial audio on for the best possible audio experience with this title.

Imagine hearing every disturbance in your ship, every creature on the planet, footsteps approaching, and leaves rustling. If not a headphone, we recommend fans have a surround sound system for the same.

Then again, there’s much room to experiment between the minimum and recommended settings of Starfield; everyone can find their personal sweet spot and stick to it. We know we would.
