Nintendo knows how to keep things fresh for their fans, and that’s how they have managed to be in this business for this long! They have released numerous exciting titles for numerous exciting consoles over the years. And those games have never fallen short of being exciting, and that’s exactly what Nintendo intends to keep doing.

In their latest Direct that was specifically for Nintendo Switch games releasing during the first half of 2023, however in the excitement, you might have lost track of what games are going to release. Thus, here is a complete list of all the games that were announced for Nintendo Switch.

1. Pikmin 4

With a really strong start, Nintendo finally announced officially the release of Pikmin 4 for the Switch. And it seems there is a new furry friend to help you along the way. The game is going to release on July 21, 2023.

2. Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Expansion Pack

With this latest addition, fans can now play the game with new heroes and battles. The DLC will be coming later this year in Volume 4. Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Volume 3 Expansion pack is also coming to Switch this February 15.

3. Samba de Amigo: Central Party

The game is a rhythm-matching game that can be played by fans by grabbing their Joy-Con controllers and shaking them like maracas along with the beat. There will also be many other random mini-games that the players have to keep an eye out for so that they don’t miss the fun.

4. Fashion Dreamer

A spiritual successor to Style Savvy, Fashion Dreamer allows players to create their avatars and make them the best stylish influencer in the town.

5. Dead Cells: Return To Castlevania

A fabulous DLC for the brutally punishing Dead Cells, Return to Castlevania is not just a great way to pay homage to the OG Castlevania, but also make the game more noticeable to first-time players.

6. Tron: Identity

Based on the massively popular book and Hollywood film, Tron: Identity will be a choice-based adventure game, where your decisions will change the fate of the entire server.

7. Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective

The hilarious mind-bending detective game is finally back and this time it’s in HD. As the player of the game, you take control of a soul and solve puzzles to not just help yourself but the people around you as well.

8. Deca Police

This Japanese investigation game takes place in a virtual world, where you are tasked with solving crimes while an evil hacker is trying to stop you from doing so.

9. Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the lost Demon

This 2D-style game in a 3D environment follows Bayonetta in her younger age and tells the story of how Cereza became the world-famous Umbra Witch we all know and love. It will be available to fans from March 17, 2023.

10. Splatoon 3 Expansion Pass

This paid DLC will allow players to have two waves of content; the first wave being the Inkopolis and the second wave being called the “Side Order” which is currently vague to understand what it is about. But seems like a totally new place to play the game.

11. Disney Illusion Island

The Disney Illusion Island is a game that looks very similar to Rayman Origins but with Mickey Mouse and friends. The game is coming out for Nintendo Switch on July 28.

12. Fire Emblem Engage Expansion Pass

The DLC pack includes new heroes and emblems to help make the game more fun and engaging. But be warned, the new emblems are quite addictive. It launches today.

13. Harmony: The fall of Reverie

Travel in time and decide what the future of your home Reverie will be, with this talk simulator game. Available from June 2023.

14. Octopath Traveler II

The demo of the much-awaited party-guiding adventure game Octopath Traveler II is finally out for fans to enjoy.

15. We Love Katamari REROLL + Royal Reverie

Roll and take everything under your control with those godly powers of yours, and this time, even space. Available from June 2.

16. Sea of Stars

This turn-based RPG is what players can call a true Nintendo experience, but with better music and graphics.

17. Omega Strikers

Create a group of 3 friends and play against another team in a game of Air Hockey, but with powers.

18. Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection

This fan-favorite turn-based game takes you on an adventure where you draw your own map and find the secrets of the magical world and its creatures. Launches for Nintendo Switch on June 1.

19. Advanced Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp

The most awaited strategy game for Nintendo fans, Advanced Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp is finally coming to players on April 21.

20. Kirby’s Return to Dreamland Deluxe

This extra content allows players to take control of the magical being named Magalor and help him return to his world.

21. Gameboy

One of the most unexpected announcements by Nintendo was the inclusion of the Gameboy for the Nintendo Switch. Now, you can play your favorite Gameboy titles on your Switch as well. The Gameboy will also include titles like Tetris, Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins, The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awaking DX, Gargoyle’s Quest, Game and Watch Gallery 3, Alone in the Dark: The new nightmare, Metroid II: Return of Samus, Wario Land 3, Kirby’s Dream Land. You can also have a Gameboy pocket or Gameboy color screen filters.

22. Gameboy Advanced

Just like Gameboy, Gameboy Advanced will also feature some of the previous hit titles including, Super Mario Advanced 4: Super Mario Bros. 3, WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgames, Kuru Kuru Kururin, Mario Kart: Super Circuit, Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga, The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap, and with that Nintendo is also allowing up to 4 players to play some of these games together.

23. Metroid Prime Remastered

The OG Metroid Prime from the GameCube system is now remastered, and it seems that the fandom is going crazy over this new development.

24. Master Detective Archives: Rain Code

This detective game with superpowers is just what fans need for a good time to spend with the Nintendo Switch.

25. Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster

Stand up against Empires and conclude the wars with your heroics and wits. The greatly awaited Baten Kaitos is finally here.

26. Fantasy Life: The Girl Who Steals Time

A brand new Fantasy Life game is finally here, and it seems that players are getting more than what they even asked for.

27. Professor Layton and the new world of steam

With new puzzles, Professor Layton is ready to dive into a new Mystery.

28. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe: Booster Course Pass

The new Yoshi’s Island race course is finally here.

29. Some extra games

Minecraft Legends, Blanc, Megaman Battle Network Legacy Collection, Have a Nice Death, WBSC eBaseball: Power Pros, Disney Dreamlight Valley, Tales of Symphonia Remastered were all revealed during the Direct.

30. And Finally, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
