Need for Speed Most Wanted 2005 is a game that all Need for Speed fans know of. It’s a game that people find hard to overlook when a conversation about the best NFS game in the series starts. Even people who do not care for video games seem to be aware of this game and love it.
And that is why this game was reimagined in 2012. EA gave the legendary developer Criterion Games the responsibility to develop that game. The game was a critical and commercial success, but fans of Most Wanted remained disappointed.

It appears EA is looking to rectify that now. They seem to be working on a remake of the original Most Wanted. This information came from several sources. One of them was the actress who played a character in the original game’s story. She then deleted her tweet, which said “Need for Speed: Most Wanted Remake is being released in 2024”.

The actress then made a similar post on her Instagram account too. This means the game’s development is well underway and is close enough to completion for EA to already have a launch date. This would be an exciting thing to see as this is the first time that EA has considered fan requests and brought back a Need for Speed game in its original glory without any twists.
