Tyler Faraz Niknam, better known as Trainwreck, is a famous American Twitch streamer. He has been streaming on the platform since 2015. But he rose to popularity in 2020 thanks to the Among Us streams. Later, he shifted to gambling streams, for which he also faced a lot of criticism.
Trainwreck counters Elon Musk on his comments regarding the Cryptocurrency exchange FTX
Elon Musk made headlines a few weeks ago after he acquired the social media platform Twitter. Recently, he boasted about how his platform was faster and delivered better quality news about FTX’s chaotic downfall compared to the traditional news media. Musk tweeted, “Coverage of FTX meltdown is incomparably faster *and* better quality on Twitter than old-school media.“
For context who might not know, FTX is the world’s second-largest cryptocurrency exchange. But recently, the founder and CEO Sam Bankman-Fried resigned from his post and announced his company’s bankruptcy. It led to chaos among the parties involved with the crypto company, with one being the eSports organization TSM breaking their alliance with FTX.
However, Musk’s high praises for Twitter’s coverage of the FTX-related events faced some counters from Trainwreck. The Twitch streamer claimed most of the associates of the crypto exchange company got away with big amounts while Bankman-Fried faced all criticism.
Trainwreck’s reply to Elon Musk’s tweet read, “What coverage? everyone got away with it except the CEO. every YouTuber, streamer & org that made 7 figures+ for pushing it was let free by the “good guys” of the internet who pick and choose who is held responsible based on a popularity system off what gains them the most clout“
How did the Twitter audience react to the Twitch streamer’s counter?
The audience on Twitter showcased an interesting reaction to the Twitch streamer’s counters to Musk’s tweet. A fan reminded Trainwreck that Musk is talking about covering the event and not investing in the event. Further, many Twitter users reminded him about his slots streams. They also took shots about how he also made a lot of money before it got banned on Twitch.

I actually find it insane as well but that is small in comparison to the outside world FTX was a major sponsor of the MLB,NFL,NBA. Even renamed the Miami Heat Arena. Not to mention the endless commercials with A-List celebrities. Not one person other than SBF is talked about

You’re I’ll informed. Us OG’s been telling you normies to get your money off centralized exchanges, but you chose to listen to billy Bob with 100k likes. You’re an investor not a customer, this is your fault and no one else’s. Same goes for anyone else using FTX.
