Simply put, the next week of this month is going to be packed with all the latest and most crucial gaming news from renowned publishers. Platforms such as the PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo will certainly receive more additions to their existing libraries.

Here are all the gaming events happening in the next seven days in June 2022:

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 reveal – June 8

Following a long wait, Activision and Infinity Ward recently confirmed the next major entry in the action franchise. However, gamers are yet to see the actual footage from the anticipated title of 2022. This reveal is for that exact purpose only.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare II arrives on October 28 for the PlayStation, PC, and Xbox devices.

Summer Game Fest Live – June 9

It can be termed as the real replacement for the E3, as multiple publishers will join this event to showcase their upcoming projects. From in-game clips to mesmerizing trailers, fans can expect everything from the Summer Game Fest. And of course, there will be extensive sessions as well featuring the creators of some of the most awaited launches of 2022.

Talking about expected reveals, then God of War Ragnarok, from Sony’s Santa Monica Studio, has been rumored to appear in SGF. However, there’s been no official word on this from the developing team. Simply put, hardcore God of War lovers will need to keep their expectations low. Still, there will be tons of other great reveals in the upcoming show, set to go live on Thursday.

Additionally, those who want to experience the fest in a grand manner can also watch it in select IMAX theaters.

Upload VR Showcase – June 9

It will happen few hours before Geoff Keighley begins his Summer Game Fest on Thursday. As is clear from the title, the event will feature all the news, gameplay footage, and trailers from the upcoming VR games.

Guerrilla Collective and Wholesome Direct – June 11

This one will take place on Saturday, consisting of news on tons of indie titles. The extensive livestream will offer the first look at some of the most exciting games from lesser-known studios.

Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase – June 12

This is going to be a massive affair, especially for those who are Xbox fanatics. Microsoft, along with Bethesda, is set to enchant the fans with all the spectacular reveals from the already announced titles. Starfield is expected to receive a proper trailer one year after its initial teaser was released in 2021’s Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase.

Moreover, there will be other exclusives as well for which the gaming enthusiasts should stay hyped. The showcase will likely run for a duration of 90 minutes on YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, and TikTok.

Capcom Showcase – June 13

The developer and publisher is also ready to stun gaming lovers with a number of reveals. From Resident Evil, Street Fighter 6 to Pragmata, many of the established and newer IPs are expected to get key announcements.

Going by the rumors, so far, Resident Evil 4 Remake will get more attention following its recent trailer release. Then there are Resident Evil 2, 3, and 7, which are expected to receive news on their next gen versions.

Ambitious Capcom title Pragmata is also rumored to get a fresh trailer or a gameplay footage. It’s been a while since it witnessed anything in terms of generating hype for its future debut.

Xbox Games Showcase Extended – June 14

Last but not at the least, in any capacity, Microsoft will make a return with an extended showcase following its June 12 session. This extension will feature few more trailers and significant news for the upcoming IPs.

As for Nintendo, there’s still no update available regarding the possibility of a June Direct.
